The date was Thursday May 2, it was a warm sunny day in LA. I had the absolute pleasure of Styling my client/Friend Dr Jeanelle Gordon.
The Place: KoreaTown, LA
The Look: the Bohemian Girl with a bit of edge and lots of Attitude ( good Attitude Though)
Dr Jeanelle is The Owner of IronWoman Management, She's a mom, a Dr, and she's simply Fab. In creating her look I wanted to give her something that was comfortable, fun, flirty yet still age appropriate and a little funky.
I Absolutely loved this Forever 21 Dress that she had in her closet and Never worn. The Color was great with her skin tone and I just loved the fact it showed her amazing legs.
I immediately thought of a brown accent belt to make the blush colored dress pop. And for her shoes ( also Forever21), lets face it who doesn't live for a wedge in their life. And the soft patent leather worked perfectly with this story
Accessories are always the fun part, though some people tend to over do it, with this look I wanted her accessories to bring out her look, not take it over. So I found some amazing Orange and Brown earrings in her closet that just got me together. They were perfect because I simply adore Pink and Orange together. I didn't give her a necklace because the earrings were a bit long and I wanted to show her amazing clavicle bone and neck ( which are very sexy on a woman) a nice oversized colored ring, Some yellow frames from H&M, and this Bohemian girl is ready to play
The key to achieving this look and any other look you want to create is to just have Fun. Fashion is supposed to be fun, play with prints, colors and textures and you CAN'T go wrong. Fashion should NEVER be Boring
